Pitch the idea. Librator
builds it to spec, to scale.
Spec-driven development, end to end: it writes the spec, picks a model per task,
has another model review the work, and tells you the cost before any code runs.
A SaaS for clinics to book appointments, with Pix payments, WhatsApp reminders and multiple locations per customer.

Why Librator
Between a prototype
and an orchestrator.
Prototype tools stop at the demo. Orchestrators need the tasks and the agents picked before they start. Librator does the part in between, and carries it to the end.

Plans for scale
An interview comes first, asking what changes the architecture: scale, tenancy, auth, billing, sensitive data. The scope is written for real users, not a demo.

The right model per task
Each task goes to the model that fits it, from any provider: a fast one like Luna Max for small UI tweaks, a frontier one like Astra or Claude Fable for architecture and security.

A second opinion
On sensitive tasks, a model from another provider reads the diff before the commit, and sends it back when it finds something.

Cost before code
Every task has a cost range, summed by provider and checked against the subscriptions you already pay for.
BMAD and Spec Kit run spec-driven development as documents you drive prompt by prompt. Librator turns the same idea into a product.
How it works
Describe it once.
Librator takes it to the end.
You write the idea in plain words. Librator asks what changes the architecture, writes the spec, plans the tasks and picks the agents.
Clinic Scheduler
Two questions at a time, starting with what changes the project.
A SaaS for clinics to book appointments, with Pix payments, WhatsApp reminders and several locations per customer.
Got it. Before we get to scheduling, two questions that change the architecture:
- Each clinic only sees its own data, right? I'll assume
multi-tenantwith isolation per clinic. - How many clinics do you expect in the first year?

SPEC.md, TASKS.md and the ADRs are the format spec-driven workflows already read, so the plan fits the flow you already use, with or without the app. If you’ve used BMAD or Spec Kit, the documents will feel familiar; the difference is that Librator writes them for you, from the interview.
- SPEC.mdfeatures, requirements, reference architecture
- TASKS.mdthe task graph, with dependencies and acceptance criteria
- BUDGET.mdcost by task and by provider
- AGENTS.mdinstructions any coding agent reads
- CLAUDE.mdthe same, for Claude Code

Each task runs on the agent the plan chose, in its own git worktree: tests, a review by another model, a commit to the task’s branch. The queue walks the graph two at a time; merges are previewed, and conflicts stay with you.

After each task, Librator reads the agent’s local logs: the API-equivalent cost, split into what your subscription covered and what would be billed per token. Your runs calibrate the next estimate.

FAQ
Questions
answered.
How is Librator different from Lovable or an agent orchestrator?
Prototype tools generate an app from a prompt and decide the architecture for you. Orchestrators run agents once you already have tasks and picked an agent for each. Librator starts at the idea with an interview that asks what changes the architecture, plans for real users, picks the model per task and carries the plan to the end.
How does it compare to BMAD or Spec Kit?
They’re third-party projects that run spec-driven development as a process in documents, driven prompt by prompt. Librator turns that process into a product: a guided interview, a task graph with dependencies, models and budget computed for you, and runs that are measured. Librator isn’t built on either of them and doesn’t integrate with them.
Do I need another AI subscription?
No. Librator uses the logins and subscriptions you already have, through each agent’s own CLI, or an API key you provide. The plan tells you whether what you pay for covers the work, or what to buy.
Does my code leave my machine?
No. Projects, plans and runs stay on your machine. Telemetry is off by default; if you turn it on, it sends anonymous numbers per task (type, model, tokens, cost, outcome) and never names, specs, prompts, code or paths.
Which agents does it run?
Claude Code, Codex, Kimi Code and Gemini CLI. Cursor, OpenCode and Grok Build can be assigned in the plan; you run those tasks yourself.
How accurate is the cost estimate?
It’s a range, in API-equivalent dollars. Cost profiles start as documented assumptions and calibrate with your own runs, and the real cost is read from the agents’ logs after each task.
Can I use it today?
All five steps are in the app, from briefing to review. Development and review are tested with simulated agents and haven’t run a real project yet. The installer is coming soon.
